Quick Fix and Repeat Scripts Clinics
We provide a Quick Fix Clinic on most days for those patients who want a quick in and out appointment. This is a "no frills" clinic that is charged at the Medicare rebate amount. Suitable problems for this clinic would be coughs, colds, sore throats, repeat prescriptions, blood pressure checks, sickness certificates (not Work cover), vaccinations and mole checks. Examples of health conditions/problems that will NOT be seen include: pap smears, midwifery consultations, Work cover related consultations, headaches and abdominal pain of more than 3 days duration or anything of a counselling nature.

Prescription and referral requests require an appointment with the doctor. Easy access is available with a script clinic available each day from 8.30 am to 9.30 am as well as our Quick Clinic from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm. We no longer take requests over the phone. Both clinics require an appointment.

The Clinic has two Diabetes Educators, Sharon Campbell, a Registered Nurse who has a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management, and Pam Ling who is available every second Thursday. Appointments can be made in the usual manner. Both Sharon and Pam liaise with the Clinic Doctors in providing practical advice to improve the lifestyle of diabetes sufferers including:

Education about the causes and effects of Diabetes.
Dietary and exercise advice.
Use of blood glucose monitoring equipment

Vaccines for the childhood immunisation scheme are supplied by the Government and stored at the clinic according to strict guidelines. Our Practice nurses have specific immunisation training and now carry out most of the routine childhood immunisations. Childhood immunisation vaccines are provided free of charge through a bulk-billed consultation. With parental consent the clinic notifies The Australian Childhood Immunisation Register when your child is immunised. Full details of the recommended Childhood Immunisation Schedule can be found at the Australian Government Department of Health.

We can also supply all your travel vaccination requirements. See our Travel Medicine page for further information.
