Employment and Training
Registrar Training
Wodonga West Medical Clinic is focussed on providing specialist training opportunities for the new generation of doctors. Our clinic provides a tailored educational program for the individual learning needs for our medical practitioners to upskill in the speciality of General Practice. We work in conjunction with our local training provider The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) to facilitate ongoing placements for GPT1/2 and GPT3/4 positions. We currently have two GP supervisors (Dr William Walton and Dr Douglas Colwell) who provide focused and formalised training and supervision.
If you would like to know more about the training opportunities at WWMC, please phone our Practice Manager – Rechelle on (02) 6056 2447 or email rechelles@wwmc.com.au for a confidential discussion.
Medical Students
From time to time our clinic hosts 3rd, 5th and 6th year medical students from the University of NSW Rural Clinical School. The students are provided with opportunities to learn for our fully qualified General Practitioners to assist with their studies.
